About Me

It all began back when I was a child. Occasionally I accompanied my grandmother Doris Leyland, an accredited Toronto area Real Estate agent, on her real estate appointments. She truly was inspiring.

Fast forward to 1998. I was working for a computer software development company, as office manager. While I was on maternity leave my husband was offered a transfer from his employer to their head office in Ottawa. With my newborn son, Wesley, we made the journey to Ottawa, and never looked back.

In 2001, I worked for a knife and cutlery distribution company in their customer service department. This was a valuable learning experience. It taught me patience and understanding and an appreciation for excellent listening skills.

January 2005, and pregnant with my second child, Kiana. I decided that it was time to follow my dreams of being a Real Estate agent. I successfully completed my Real Estate courses with an 84% average from OREA, Real Estate College.

Early 2006 I joined the dynamic team of Royal Lepage Gale Real Estate Brokerage in Manotick and completed 3 successful transactions in my first 5 months.

Currently I reside in the Greely area. My husband and I custom built our own home with the help of an excellent contractor. With our gift for room visualization and interior decorating expertise, we made our dream home a reality.

A sports enthusiast, I am currently involved in a women's soccer league with the South Ottawa United Soccer Club. An avid runner, I completed a 10km run in just under 1 hour in support of the SunnyBrook Run for research.

Above all I enjoy spending time with my family. My two children are an absolute joy. Wesley is a creative and energetic young man. Kiana is an exceptionally loving and sweet little girl. Derek, my husband of 9 years, is my best friend. He has always supported and encouraged me.
